How do I find out if my teammates are already signed up?

On the Home Page, under the Search for Teammate box, you may search for a Nickname or a Teammate Name. You can perform the same search under the Teammates tab, just click on the Search for Teammates box and fill in the appropriate information.

How do I know if a roster for a team I played on has already been created?

The best way to search for a roster is to click on the Roster tab then click on Advanced Search or Search Rosters . In the Team Name box type in the complete team name that you are searching for and click the search button.

How do I create a roster?

Go to the Roster tab and click on Create Roster.  Then complete the roster creation process by simply filling out the form and clicking on submit.

Below are some helpful tips to remember when creating a roster:

• When you create a roster, please note that when you enter the Team Name, it’s very important that you enter the exact Team Name. For example, if the Team Name is Santa Cruz Water Ninjas, then enter that exact name, and do not enter SC H20 Ninjas or S.C. H20 Ninjas. By entering the exact Team Name it will allow for better Team Name data integrity for our users which in turn will help to generate better search results.

• When you enter the Roster Year Start date, please note that this is the date in which the actual season started, and the Roster Year End date is the date in which the actual season ended. For example, if the season started on September 1, 2003 and ended on June 30, 2004 then the Roster Year Start date would be 2003 and the Roster Year End date would be 2004. If the season started on September 1, 2003 and ended on December 31, 2003 then the Roster Year Start date would be 2003 and the Roster Year End date would be 2003.

• You can provide a brief description of the roster by entering the information in the Roster Description box. For example, if the roster you are creating is for a Slow Pitch Softball Summer League then you could insert that information for the Roster Description.

Are all rosters open to any members/teammates to join?

No. When you create a roster you have the option of selecting Open Join. By selecting “No”, members/teammates can join your team only after you have given them your approval.

What is the difference between My Rosters and My Teams?

My Teams (in My Account area) are the rosters that you personally have created. You are the roster creator. Now My Rosters (in the Roster tab area) are all the teams you are on. You may or may not be the roster creator. Every team you are associated with will be in this section.

How can I hide a roster?

When you create a roster you have the option of creating a Hidden Roster. By selecting “Yes”, your team will not be available for viewing and you will need to invite members/teammates before they can view your team roster.

What does League Type refer to?

When you create a roster this refers to whether the team type was Men’s, Women’s or Mixed (Men and Women). Please note that when you have completed the creation of a roster and have selected the League Type, when the roster is displayed on the Website the League Type will not show up. However, when you click on the roster to view the roster details, the League Type will appear.

How do I delete a roster?

To delete a roster go into My Account and click on My Teams, then find the respective team and click on Edit Roster at the bottom of the page, and finally click on Delete Roster.

How do I add a teammate?

For the teammate that you want to add, when you are logged into Roster Reunion, go to their profile and click on Add Teammate. This will generate an email to be sent for rejection or approval by that teammate. If approved, that teammate will show up in your account under My Teammates. Please note that just because you join a roster this does not mean that all teammates on that roster will show up in your account under My Teammates. The roster is just a group that you belong to and you can certainly view all the teammates on a roster, but you have to select the teammates that you want to show up in your account under My Teammates.

How do I delete a teammate?

Go into My Account and scroll down to the My Teammates area and click on the Teammate. Next to each Teammate there is a X. By clicking on the X next to the teammate that you want to delete, that teammate will be deleted from your account.

You can block a teammate by going into their profile and clicking on the Block button. To unblock a teammate, go into My Mail located at the top right portion of the Website (when you are logged in), then click on Blocked Users and check the teammate you wish to unblock and click the Unblock button.

How do I invite my friends/teammates to RosterReunion.com?

Click on the Roster tab, then click on My Rosters.  Click on the Roster you want to invite your non-member friend to check out. Click on Invite Teammates, and type in the email address in the “Additional Email Addresses” box.  Also, when you create a roster, you will be able to invite non-members to your team once the roster is created. You can also invite a teammate when viewing another teammate's profile by joining the team and clicking on the Invite Teammates or going into the Sports Box and clicking on an Event and by clicking on the Invite Teammate area.

How do I add a video?

To add a video, go into My Account and click on Manage Videos or you can click on the Video tab and then click on Add Video. At this time the only video format accepted on Roster Reunion is using an  EMBED CODE. You can upload your video at other popular video websites, then copy the embed code from that website and paste the embed code into the "Add Video" embed code field on Roster Reunion. Let all your teammates and other athletes see your sports videos on your personal profile or under the Video tab.

What is the Roster Emails, where do I find it and why do I (or teammates) not get the emails?

The Roster Emails allows the Roster Creator to send every teammate on that roster an email. This is great for finding out if everyone will be attending a game, notifying of any changes, practice times, get togethers, reunions, etc.  No more scrolling through to find everyone. Just send your message with this easy email blast.  The Roster Email area can be found in every roster that you have created.  Only the roster creator can see the Roster Emails area when viewing the roster. Just click on the roster and at the top you will find Roster Emails. After clicking on Roster Emails, you will find the Add Email area to the right. Click on that and fill in the message you want to send everyone on the roster. The Date Scheduled area allows you to send it out at a later date if you are going to be out of town or not next to your computer.  Just click on the Save button if you wish to send it out later. But if you want to send it right away, click on the Send Now button.  If a teammate is having problems receiving emails from you, have them check to see if the messages are being filtered into their SPAM/JUNK/BULK  folder. If so, have them add/allow  your email address and also roster reunion's email addresses (admin@rosterreunion.com & noreply@rosterreunion.com) into their address book to avoid future SPAM filtering. We will never sell or misuse your email address.
